Rainier Youth Choirs offers open rehearsals starting Sept. 10 at Cedar Heights Middle School in Covington

Singers in fourth grade through college are invited to check out Rainier Youth Choirs during an open rehearsal.

Youth interested in joining one of the three premier choirs can participate in the following rehearsals bycontacting RYC in advance, 253-347-0180 or ryc@rainierchoralarts.org.

  • 7-8:30 p.m. Sept. 10: experienced soprano, alto, tenor, and bass singers in high school and college,
  • 5:30-7 p.m. Sept. 17: experienced treble boys and girls in grades 6 and up, or
  • 5-6:30 p.m. Sept. 20:  for treble singers in grades 4 and up, no training needed.

 

RYC is an affordable, non-profit, family-friendly choral training organization. Informal audition appointments are also being scheduled now through September 27th for fall enrollment.

Rehearsals are held in the choir room behind Cedar Heights Middle School, 19640 SE 272nd, Covington.

The All Nature Sings 2012-13 RYC season concerts will be The Heavens are Singing December 15th 3:00 p.m., Earth Wind and Fire at 7 p.m. on March 23, and Birds, Bees, Flowers, and Trees at 3 p.m. on June 2 at Kent United Methodist Church.

More fun events also await RYC members and families, including another appearance as Argosy’s Christmas Ship main entertainment December 5th.
