With summer, come vacations and vacations mean fewer blood donors. However summer does not mean less need for blood. With people being more active demand for blood goes up in the summer.

The Puget Sound Blood Center will be host a blood drive at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church located at 32416 6th Ave in Black Diamond from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on July 13. A bus will be located in the upper parking lot. The drive will be closed from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sign-up by calling Ray Signani (360) 886-2450. Walk-ins are welcome around scheduled appointments.
