Public hearings on downtown land-use slated for Sept. 9

The Covington City Council will conduct two public hearings Sept. 9 on downtown development and related matters.

The Covington City Council will conduct two public hearings Sept. 9 on downtown development and related matters.

The hearings will be part of a meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. at City Hall.

The first hearing will be on a proposed amendment of the comprehensive plan as it involves the Jenkins Creek corridor, allowing different land uses to be permitted. The second hearing will cover proposed revisions of relating to land uses and development regulations.
