LARCENY

• A car stereo and vehicle registration were reported stolen at 8:50 a.m. on July 21 from an unsecured vehicle on the 22800 block of Southeast 271st Place.

• A garage door opener was reported stolen at 7:45 p.m. on July 20 from a vehicle parked on the 23700 block of Southeast 277th Street.

• A vehicle prowl was reported at 5:26 p.m. on July 20 at a residential driveway on the 26500 block of 233rd Avenue Southeast.

• A wallet was reported stolen at 2:31 p.m. on July 20 from a vehicle parked in an open garage on the 16600 block of Southeast 262nd Place.

• An attempted burglary was reported at 8:57 a.m. on July 20. Police said an unknown suspect stole a small coin purse from an unlocked vehicle and attempted to gain entry to a private residence on the 26600 block of 190th Avenue Southeast.

• A burglary was reported at 7:17 p.m. on July 19. Police said a fence was cut to gain access to the Covington Water Tower, 25310 SE Maple Ridge Way.

• A car window was reported broken and briefcase stolen at 7:12 a.m. on July 19 from outside a private residence on the 27600 block of 236th Court Southeast.

• Items were reported stolen at 4:23 a.m. on July 19 from a donation trailer in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 26800 SE 236th St., parking lot.

• An unsecured bicycle was reported stolen at 6:14 p.m. on July 16 in front of Fred Meyer, 26520 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE.

ASSAULT

• Police responded to an assault report at 10:38 a.m. on July 20 that involved homeless subjects in a physical fight with weapons at the Safeway gas station, 27020 state Route 169.

• Fourth-degree assault was reported at 8:35 p.m. on July 18 in a parking lot on the 21800 block of Southeast Wax Road. Police said a man pushed his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend out of anger, with no injuries.

• Fourth-degree assault was reported at 1:10 a.m. on July 17 at an apartment o the 21900 block of Southeast Wax Road.

DRUGS

• A controlled substance violation was reported at 7:25 p.m. on July 17. Police said a man possessed 26.5 grams of heroin on a public roadway on the 18000 block of Southeast Wax Road.

VANDALISM

• Vandalism was reported at 3:30 p.m. on July 20. Police said three unknown juvenile males sprayed profanity-laden graffiti on the trail overpass on the 23500 block of Southeast 263rd Street.

• Vandalism was reported at 10:22 p.m. on July 18 after an upset husband living on the 23000 block of Southeast 243rd Place broke his wife’s cell phone.

• Scratches on a vehicle were reported at 10:30 a.m. on July 18 on the 26700 block of Lake Wilderness Country Club Drive.

DRIVING

• A driving with a revoked license arrest was reported at 11:32 p.m. on July 20 at Southeast 253rd Place and state Route 169.

FRAUD

• Identity theft was reported at 12:50 p.m. on July 21 by an individual living on the 25300 block of Southeast 279th Place.
