DEATH INVESTIGATION

• A death investigation was reported at 6:22 p.m. on June 19 at a garage of a residence on the 25900 block of 158th Avenue Southeast. Police said a fatal gunshot wound was reported at the victim’s house.

LARCENY

• An individual was arrested at 3”42 p.m. on June 21 for stealing an iPod from Gamestop, 16929 SE 270th Place.

• Jewelry was reported stolen at 3:24 p.m. June 21 from a private residence on the 24900 block of 161st Place Southeast.

• A burglary was reported at 2:0 p.m. on June 21 at Covington Elementary, 17070 SE Wax Road, after the commercial burglary alarm was tripped.

• Unknown males reported as syphoning gas from vehicles oat 3:07 a.m. on June 20 near apartments on the 22400 block of Southeast 244th Street.

• A purse was reported stolen at 10:01 p.m. on June 19 from a residence on the 22900 block of Southeast 266th Street.

• A trailer was reported stolen at 3:12 p.m. on June 19 from a residential driveway on the 21800 block of Southeast 268th Street.

• A bicycle was reported stolen at 2:41 p.m. on June 19 from the front porch of a residence on the 17100 block of Southeast 261st Street.

• A theft was reported at 1:12 p.m. on June 19 at Farrelli’s Pizza, 26642 Maple Valle Black Diamond Road SE.

• An attempted vehicle theft was reported at 3:28 p.m. on June 17 on the 25800 block of 179th Place Southeast.

• A laptop and speaker system was reported stolen at 5:20 a.m. on June 17 from a vehicle parked on the 26400 block of 164th Avenue Southeast.

• Electric wiring was reported stolen at 10:18 a.m. on June 16 at a vacant home on the 18700 block of Southeast 268th Street.

VANDALISM

• A vehicle window was reported as being broken out at 10:11 a.m. on June 22 at the parking lot of the Soos Creek trailhead, Southeast 249th Street and 148th Avenue Southeast.

• Vandalism was reported to a glass door at 11:17 a.m. on June 19 at a residence on the 27400 block of 236th Place Southeast.

• Vandalism was reported at 1:26 a.m. on June 18. Police said two individuals were caught senior pranking Kentwood High School, 25800 164th Ave. SE, with water soluble chalk.

• Vandalism to a vehicle was reported at 6:18 p.m. on June 17 on the 22900 block of Southeast 241st Place.

TRESPASSING

• Trespassing was reported at 5:54 p.m. on June 18 at the Grocery Outlet, 26525 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE.

FRAUD

• Fraud was reported at 1:58 p.m. on June 20 on the 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street.

• Credit card fraud was reported at 8:09 a.m. on June 19 by an individual on the 25500 block of Southeast 277th Street.

• Check fraud was reported at 6:51 p.m. on June 18 at BECU, 17307 SE 272nd St.

ASSAULT

• Aggravated assault was reported at 10:12 p.m. on June 18 on the 26700 block of 234th Avenue Southeast. Police said one individual pushed another into a burning fire pit twice after an argument.

DRIVING

• A man was arrested at 5:56 p.m. on June 20 for reckless driving  after causing an accident on Southeast Kent Kangley Road.

• Driving with a revoked license was reported at 12:40 p.m. on June 19 at Southeast 240th Street and 18th Avenue Southeast.

SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

• Rape was reported at 10:59 a.m. on June 21 at a private residence on the 21600 block of Southeast 271st Place.

• A female living on the 19400 block of Southeast 264th Street reported sexual comments and unwanted sexual touching from a stepfather at 4:05 p.m. on June 20.

CHILD NEGLECT

• A small child was reported as being left unattended in a vehicle at 10:43 a.m. on June 21 at Dollar Tree, 16933 SE 272nd St. Police said the child was 1 year old.

BOMBING

• Police responded to the front yard of a residence n the 17800 block of Southeast 267th Place after a report of fire as a result of an explosive device at 10:11 a.m. on June 22. Police said the suspect(s) detonated an explosive firework device that cased property damage.
