Feb. 8

THREATENING CALL: 26700 block of 191st Place Southeast. Someone called residents of a home in the Timberlane neighborhood. The caller used a cell phone to threaten to harm people living in the house, which is a felony offense.

Feb. 7

VANDALISM: 26300 block of 187th Court Southeast. A man reported that he believes his roommate keyed his car.

SPARE SOME CHANGE: 19400 block of Southeast 267th Street. Loose change was stolen from a car parked in Timberlane. The owner had left the vehicle unlocked.

Feb. 6

THEFT: 21400 block of Southeast 300th Street. A student put his backpack down in the theater at Kentlake High School. When he returned to retrieve the back pack it was gone. Among the contents of the pack was a laptop which the student reported contained no sensitive information.

HIGH END SHOPLIFTER: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A shopper turned thief at Fred Meyer Jewelers’ when the patron dashed out of the store with a diamond ring without paying for it.

Feb. 4

TAGGED: 26900 block of 186th Avenue Southeast. Someone spray painted graffiti on a portable classroom building at Jenkins Creek Elementary School.

Feb. 3

CHECK FRAUD: 19600 block of Southeast 260th Street. A trio of checks were stolen from a couple, altered and used to make payments to three separate companies.

MAPLE VALLEY

Feb. 7

NOT WELCOME HERE: 28100 block of 233 Avenue Southeast. A former tenant was removed from the property, which is a rental home, after being reported for trespassing by the landlord. A King County Sheriff’s deputy returned the tenant to his home.

THREATS: 28200 block of 241st Avenue Southeast. A dispute between neighbors turned ugly when one homeowner gestured in a threatening manner and made vague verbal threats toward his neighbor.

EASY TARGET: 21900 block of Southeast Wax Road. Someone stole a car that had been left running in the parking lot of the Maple Crossing Apartments.

Feb. 6

ARGUMENT: 23800 block of 235th Avenue Southeast. A pair of men got into an argument at the KFC/Taco Bell restaurant in Maple Valley. After leaving the store, one man followed the other to his home.

JUST ONE WHEEL: 21900 block of Southeast Wax Road. Shortly before midnight a woman left her apartment and headed out to her car parked in the Maple Crossing Apartments lot. Upon reaching it she found that just the rear tire and rim had been stolen.

Feb. 4

WRONG CHECKS: 23200 block of Maple Valley Highway. A customer paid for an order from Dominoe’s Pizza with checks from a closed account. The store and the customer agreed to handle the matter civilly.

Feb. 3

CAR PROWL: 25900 block of Lake Wilderness Drive. A homeowner discovered that someone had stolen change from their vehicle. While scooping up the loose change the thief dropped a garage door opener, which belonged to a neighbor, on the car seat.
