Package thief, stolen groceries, a smashed car and more | Police Blotter

It was reported on March 14 that an unknown male stole a package off a porch in Covington

LARCENY

A loss and prevention officer for Safeway witnessed a shoplifting incident on March 11. According to the police report, the witness observed a male select a package of shaving razors and took it without paying.

On March 12 it was reported that a Jeep was parked out front of the Maple Valley Fitness and when the victim was inside working out, someone smashed his window and stole his wallet.

It was reported on March 13 that a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from Kohl’s and they had a warrant for their arrest.

On March 13 it was reported that a suspect shoplifted from Fred Meyer and was in possession of narcotics.

On March 14 a suspect was charged for shoplifting at Kohl’s. The suspect had stolen items through concealment.

It was reported on March 14 that an unknown male stole a package off a porch in Covington and left in a 90’s style tan or gold four door car. According to the police report, the vehicle had been seen following a UPS truck.

On March 14 it was reported that a juvenile took a cell phone from a basketball court at the LA Fitness in Covington.

A mother with a 10-year-old son stole groceries on March 15. According to the police report, the mother walked out without paying for her groceries at Fred Meyer.

A victim’s purse was stolen on March 16. A victim left their purse in unlocked vehicle at the 76 gas station and it was stolen.

VANDALISM

It was reported that a driver was arrested for malicious mischief on March 14. According to the police report, the driver used their truck to smash another vehicle in anger and broke a window in the victim’s vehicle.

TRESPASS

On March 11 it was reported that a subject was contacted and trespassed from Safeway after attempting to shoplift alcohol.

A female subject was trespassed from Walmart on March 12. According to the police report, the subject was also arrested and booked into King County Jail on a misdemeanor warrant.

It was reported on March 17 that a suspect trespassed an abandoned home, they just walked through the front door of the abandoned residence.
