Megan Hagstrom and Julie Hagstrom of Covington are among the participants in the Pacific Sound chorus and quartet members who won first place at the regional a cappella chorus competition that was held May 18 in Spokane.

The quartet, called Yahtzee, won the quartet division on May 19.

As regional champions Pacific Sound Chorus will compete in an international competition to be held in November of 2014 in Baltimore, MD. The member of Yahtzee will travel to Honolulu, HI this fall to compete against over 50 other quartets.

Other members from Covington, Maple Valley, and Renton include Susan Soderberg, Rose Cooper, Susan Kegley, Terri B’Hymer, and Victoria Williams.
