All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

ASSAULT

• On April 22 around 2:45 p.m. officers responded to Cedar Heights Junior High. A Kent School District security officer reported that a fight had occurred in front of the school. The police report stated that juveniles were seen fighting and kicking on school grounds.

• Around 6 p.m. on April 25 officers responded to the report that a girlfriend had assaulted her boyfriend. The report stated that she apparently slapped him and grabbed his neck causing pain during an argument outside their residence. The report also stated that she had apparently cut the boyfriend with scissors during another argument a few days prior.

GAME VIOLATIONS

• On April 22 and unknown number of subjects were contacted because they were illegally fishing at Lake Wilderness Park. The report stated that the subjects were fishing out of season.

CRIMINAL WARRANT

• On April 23 officers responded to the report of suspicious behavior in QFC’s parking lot. The report stated that the subject was seen driving through the gravel lot possibly looking for vehicles to steal gas from. The subject was contacted by officers and arrested for an outstanding warrant.

WELFARE STATUS

• On April 26 around 11 a.m. officers responded for a welfare check because a 2 year old was seen running in the road.
