Drivers who use northbound Interstate 5 in Federal Way should plan ahead for overnight lane and ramp closures today, through the morning of May 26.

During the closures, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will repair pavement on the bridge deck of the Military Road South overpass.

Closure details:

· Today, to the morning of May 26 – Up to three lanes of northbound I-5 from South 320th Street to Military Road South will be closed nightly beginning with one lane at 7 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 4:30 a.m.

· Today, to the morning of May 25 – The eastbound and westbound South 320th Street on-ramps to northbound I-5 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.

· May 25, to the morning of May 26 – The South 317th Street HOV on-ramp to northbound I-5 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
