Ray Vefik has joined the Board of Directors of the Lake Wilderness Arboretum Foundation (LWAF) as Member at Large.

Vefik is an active member of the Auburn community and is currently serving as President of the Auburn School District Board of Directors.

He joins President Noel Paterson, Vice President Maggie Westerlund, Secretary Diane Barnes, Treasurer Sarah Gilbert, and Members Scott Jonas, Debbie Fuchs, Sarah Schumacher and Criss Vefik, for what will be a very exciting season for the Arboretum – the organization is celebrating 50 years of volunteerism in 2015.

“We are all excited to have Ray join the LWAF board,” says President Noel Paterson. “We are very proud and grateful to enjoy such a rich history of volunteerism in Maple Valley and look forward to making our 2015 season as special as possible.”
