Kentlake High School will host its first Culture Night Dec. 5 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The event, organized by the school’s First Nations Club, is expected to attract about 150 guests, said Samual Morseau, a Native American advisor for Kent School District. The club has 15 members.

The keynote speaker will be David Boxley, an Alaskan Tsimshian woodcarver who has produced 65 totem poles in the last 26 years.
