Mountain View Fire and Rescue will have a burn ban from July 1 until Sept. 3 for residents with current burn permits.

·The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced there will be a statewide burn ban on all DNR-protected lands July 1 through Sept. 30.

The burn ban does not apply to federal lands.
