Mount Si trails to remain closed for the three-day weekend due to airplane crash that killed Kentalke and Decatur swim coaches

Due to an ongoing investigation of Wednesday’s airplane crash on Mount Si, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will be keeping the area closed throughout the three-day Presidents’ Day weekend and possibly into next week.

The closure affects access to the popular Mount Si and Little Si trailheads and trails in the Mount Si Natural Resources Conservation Area (NRCA).
