Motorcyclist admits drinking, refuses breath test | Black Diamond Police Blotter

Medical condition: 31400 block of 3rd Avenue. Officers were dispatched after they received several reports of a possible drunk driver on state Route 169.

Medical condition: 31400 block of 3rd Avenue. Officers were dispatched after they received several reports of a possible drunk driver on state Route 169. A detailed description of the vehicle was provided to the officers, which enabled them to locate it stopped in a parking lot in the 31400 block of 3rd Avenue. While speaking with the driver, the officer observed that the male driver was possibly having a medical episode. The Black Diamond Fire Department arrived on scene and confirmed the medical episode. The male driver was treated at the scene.

Missing persons: Southeast 280th Street & state Route 169. An officer observed a young juvenile female walking near the woods at Southeast 280th Street & state Route 169. The officer contacted the young female and confirmed she was listed as a missing person/runaway from Kent. The young female provided information that she was staying at a residence in Black Diamond where there was another missing person/runaway. Officers contacted the occupants of this residence and located the second missing person/runaway from Kent. Both parents of the juveniles were contacted and were released to their guardian.

 

May 19

DUI: 31100 block of 3rd Avenue. An officer observed a motorcycle traveling northbound in the 31100 block of 3rd Avenue. According to the police report, the motorcycle was traveling at an extremely low speed and kept crossing the center line. A traffic stop was initiated and the male driver was identified by his driver’s license. While speaking with the driver the officer observed numerous signs of intoxication. The driver admitted he had been drinking and agreed to perform a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. The driver was arrested and transported to Buckley Jail for DUI processing. Upon refusal of a breath test the male driver was booked into jail.
