Middle school student reportedly threatens another student with a knife | Covington and Maple Valley Police Blotter

On Oct. 17 it was reported that there was a disturbance and one party may have been armed with a stolen handgun.

STOLEN PROPERTY

• On Oct. 17 it was reported that there was a disturbance and one party may have been armed with a stolen handgun.

BURGLARY

• On Oct. 20 it was reported that unknown suspects cut a hole in a fence to enter a secure parking lot at the Covington Post Office. The report stated the suspects stole high valued items from employee’s unlocked vehicles.

ROBBERY

• On Oct. 21 it was reported by the victim that he was approached by unknown suspects who demanded money. He told officers as he walked away, one of the suspects hit him over the head. The police report stated the victim then realized he was missing money.

PERSON WITH WEAPON

• Officers responded to Mattson Middle School Oct. 17 to reports of a student threatening another with a knife. The report stated the student had a total of three knives on campus.

ASSAULT

• On Oct. 17 officers were called to Kentwood High School to reports of a student assaulting another. The report stated the assault happened because the suspect accused the victim of “snitching” on her for smoking marijuana.
