The Middle Green River Coalition is hosting a free community event noon-8p.m. Aug. 13 at Kanaskat Palmer State Park.

The second annual benefit event will have eight hours of live music including Enumclaw’s Justin Grennan, recently on NBC’s The Voice, as well as a beer garden, silent auction, an appearance by Smokey the Bear and more.

Proceeds will benefit nonprofit Middle Green River Coalition and its efforts to protect the Green River Gorge and Middle Green River Watershed.

Parking in the park is limited. Carpooling is encouraged and overflow parking will be available across from Green River Cycles & Kayaks, 33607 SE 309th St, Ravensdale, WA with a shuttle running every 15 minutes.

The Discovery Pass will not be required for entrance.
