Maple Valley reviews environmental impact of proposed collective garden ban

The city of Maple Valley is currently undergoing a process of review regarding the drafting of text amendments to Maple Valley Municipal Code Title 18 regarding regulations prohibiting medical marijuana and collective gardens.

The city of Maple Valley is currently undergoing a process of review regarding the drafting of text amendments to Maple Valley Municipal Code Title 18 regarding regulations prohibiting medical marijuana and collective gardens.

The lead agency is city of Maple Valley, Community Development Services. The lead agency expects to issue a DNS for this project.

The Optional DNS process (WAC 197-11-355) is being used to administer this application.

This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal.

Comments must be submitted no later than June 12.

A copy of the subsequent threshold determination for this proposal may be obtained upon request.

Regulations that the city may use to mitigate impacts of this proposal include, but are not limited to, MVMC Titles 12, 13, 14, 16, 18 and other MVMC as necessary.
