Maple Valley resident inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu

Maple Valley resident Jason Paul Sease was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the national honor society of Jesuit colleges and universities, during a ceremony in Canisius College's Christ the King Chapel on Tuesday, April 24.

Maple Valley resident Jason Paul Sease was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the national honor society of Jesuit colleges and universities, during a ceremony in Canisius College’s Christ the King Chapel on Tuesday, April 24.

Sease is pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration from Canisius College.

Students are nominated for induction based on their ideals of scholarship, loyalty and service.  Prospective members must be a graduate school student with a minimum QPA of 3.5 and approved by three faculty committee members and the president of Canisius College.

Selection to Alpha Sigma Nu is one of the highest honors that can be given on a Jesuit campus.  The society was founded in 1915 to honor a select number of students each year on the basis of scholarship, loyalty, and service. Inductees demonstrate an intelligent appreciation of and commitment to the ideals, intellectual, social, moral and religious, of Jesuit higher education.
