Maple Valley Planning Commission to hold public hearing on proposed ban on collective gardens June 6

The Maple Valley Planning Commission will hold a hearing to accept public testimony regarding a proposed amendment to the Maple Valley Municipal coderegarding regulations prohibiting medical marijuana dispensaries and collective gardens at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, in the Tahoma School District Board Room.

The building is located at 25720 Maple Valley Highway SE, Maple Valley.

On May 14, the Maple Valley City Council declared an emergency requiring expedited review by the Planning Commission pursuant to MVMC 2.35.60.J.2.Interested persons will be heard at this time.

Copies of the proposal may be viewed at the City of Maple Valley City Hall, Community Development Department, 22017 SE Wax Road, Ste 200, Maple Valley, during regular business hours prior to the hearing date.
