The Maple Valley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance for the Brandt Property rezone at 7 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 7.

The Maple Valley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance for the Brandt Property rezone at 7 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 7.

The city of Maple Valley is proposing to rezone the area known as the “Brandt Property” located on approximately 50 acres north of state Route 169 and Southeast 240th Way from the existing zoning designation of Multiple Use (MU) to a combination of Service Commercial (SC), Community Business (CB) and Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PRO).

The Planning Commission will make a recommendation on the rezone following a public hearing.

The City Council will make a decision after review of the Planning Commission recommendation.
