Maple Valley Fire & Life Safety has received 300 9-volt batteries for smoke detectors, thanks to Energizer and the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

The batteries will be provided to low income families and the elderly community of Maple Valley. Firefighters will be disturbing batteries on emergency calls if smoke detector batteries are missing or in need of replacement.

They will also be available for pick-up at our Four Corners Fire Station.

If you are elderly or low income and would like to receive up to 2 batteries per household please stop by our Four Corners Fire Station from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
