On Feb. 10 the Maple Valley Firefighters Benevolent Fund board of directors donated $7,500 to Vine Maple Place.
The money that was donated will go toward the children and youth programs, firefighter and Benevolent Fund secretary Ryan Carpenter, said in an email.
The children and youth programs help children build coping skills, address mental health issues, strengthen interpersonal
relationships, develop positive identity and build self-esteem in order to recover from the trauma of homelessness.
