Maple Valley will be creating history this summer when the Maple Valley Farmers’ Market opens June 20 at Rock Creek Elementary School, located on Maple Valley Highway. This community event is co-sponsored by the city of Maple Valley and the Tahoma School District.

Patty Davis, chair of the Vendor Sub-Committee is presently accepting vendor applications from farmers, artisans and crafters. To learn more about becoming a vendor or to obtain a Vendor Application Packet, please contact info@maplevalleyfarmersmarket.org or call 425-413-1589.

The Farmers’ Market Steering Committee is also seeking community input on what they would like to see at the Farmers’ Market by conducting an online community survey maplevalleyfarmersmarket.org/index.html. This survey was designed by Tahoma High School teacher Crystal Hess and two of her students Brooke Bartenetti and Madison Parker.

The Maple Valley Farmers’ Market Steering Committee meets 5:30 p.m. the second and fourth Thursday at the Lake Wilderness Lodge Community Room, 22500 SE 2428th Street.
