Maple Valley Days Festival in the Park at Lake Wilderness starts today

The Maple Valley Days Festival in the Park kicks off today and continues through Saturday and Sunday at Lake Wilderness Park.

The Maple Valley Days Festival in the Park kicks off today and continues through Saturday and Sunday at Lake Wilderness Park.

There will be a Maple Valley Food Bank drive today; bring four nonperishable food items and $20 to receive a bracelet for unlimited carnival rides on Friday 4-10 p.m., $30 without a food donation.

Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon is the Witte Road parade.

The festival events includes:

• Breakfast at Maple Valley Community Center

Hosted by the Covington Lions Club and the Greater Maple Valley Community Council

7 a.m.-noon Saturday

Proceeds benefit the Greater Maple Valley Community Council and the Covington Lions Club

$7 per adult

$5 per child 12 and under

Pancake, egg, sausage and coffee, hot chocolate or juice

Please bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Maple Valley Food Bank.
