The Maple Valley Creative Arts Council collaborated with the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra, pianist Jee Wong and the Ensemble Ballet Theatre for a benefit for Vine Maple Place.

The benefit was at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church Saturday, Jan. 22.

The benefit was dedicate to Ron Starr, who died Dec. 21. He and his wife Colleen Starr began operating Vine Maple Place in 2000.

Vine Maple Place is a Christian nonprofit organization that helps homeless families with children by providing transitional housing and support services.
