The Maple Valley City Council will meet for a special meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 3 at Lake Wilderness Lodge.

On the agenda for the meeting includes a discussion of the fireworks ban advisory note that the council plans on placing on the November 3 election ballot.

Also on the agenda is an item to further discuss the negotiation and execution of a contract with the Center for Priority Based Budgeting.

Other items to be discussed: Approval of the conceptual design for art work on Witte Road, and several deed resolutions.
