The Maple Valley-Black Diamond Kiwanis Club delivered loads of free firewood to neighbors in need for the group’s One Day project. The wood was donated from the YarrowBay construction site in Black Diamond and was given to low-income community members who use wood stoves as a heating source in their home.

A group of Kiwanis members cut and split the logs a few weeks ago and on April 6 delivered the wood.

President Jim Nannery declared the project a “huge success!”
