MACED: 16200 block of Southeast 256th Street. While sitting in her car in the parking lot of Foss Market a woman was assaulted by a man who doused her in the face with pepper spray.

KIDS ARE CRUEL: 20900 block of Southeast 270th Street. A student who had been teased at her high school and received harassing phone calls found the fence at her home had been vandalized.

POT IN PUBLIC: 27000 block of 185th Avenue Southeast. A man was found smoking marijuana in his vehicle parked in the Home Depot parking lot.

VANDALISM: 26800 block of 194th Avenue Southeast. Someone threw a cement slab through a window in a home in the Timberlane neighborhood.

WALKING AND TALKING: 25800 block of 164th Avenue Southeast. Someone stole an iPod from a Kentwood High student while she was walking to her car and talking on her cell phone. When she reached her car she noticed a pocket on her backpack had been unzipped and her iPod was gone.

CAR PROWL: 16300 block of Southeast 251st Street. A thief entered an unlocked car parked in a driveway behind a house and stole two vacuums and a pair of sunglasses.

VANDALISM: 22000 block of Southeast 248th Street. Someone used a BB gun to shatter eight windows at the Greater Maple Valley Community Center.

MENACING CALL: 22700 block of Southeast 263rd Court. Homeowner reported receiving a death threat from someone over the phone.

Jan. 6

EASY ARREST: 22300 block of Southeast 231st Street. When a deputy arrived to file paperwork at the King County Sheriff’s precinct, a man waved him down in the parking lot, offering to turn himself in on a felony warrant out of King County Superior Court.
