A man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a Covington woman in 2010, according to the King County Prosecutor’s Office.
A jury last week found Phillip D. Baldwin guilty of second degree rape for attacking a Covington woman in her home while her children were nearby.
Baldwin was set for trial Monday on two other sexual assaults, but instead pleaded guilty.
He pleaded guilty to second degree rape for raping a woman outside a fitness center in Covington and indecent liberties for attacking a woman in Ballard.
Baldwin will be sentenced in December.
He faces a minimum range of 12 to 16 years up to a potential maximum sentence of life in prison.
