Black Diamond Police Blotter Case Summaries Sept. 16-19

 

Sept. 16

  • TRY RECYCLING: 29000 block of 229th Avenue Southeast. An officer was dispatched to two neighbors that were having a verbal dispute. Upon arriving the officer contacted the neighbors separately. The female neighbor advised that a male neighbor kept dumping his yard waste onto her property. The female neighbor advised she confronted the male neighbor about it and he started to yell at her. The female neighbor advised she just wanted him to stop dumping yard waste on her property. The officer attempted to contact the male neighbor, but was only able to speak with his spouse. The spouse agreed to tell her husband to stop dumping yard waste in their yard. All parties involved advised they wished not to proceed with any criminal charges and handle the situation peacefully.

 

Sept. 18

  • DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:32600 Newcastle Drive. Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance. The officers were advised there was a female yelling for someone to “stop it” loud enough that nearby neighbors had called 911. Upon arrival officers were directed to the residence and located the two subjects involved, which were in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. Both subjects stated they were arguing over the behavior the girlfriend perceived the boyfriend to be doing that she considered inappropriate. It was determined that no threats were made towards each other and both subjects agreed to separate for the night.

 

Sept. 19

  • THEFT: 24300 block of Roberts Drive. An officer observed a female driver was a subject who had a suspended license from prior contacts. Upon verifying the female driver had a suspended license, a records check showed she also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from Kent PD reference theft charges. The officer initiated a traffic stop and confirmed the female driver was in fact the wanted subject. The female driver was placed under arrest and issued a criminal citation for the suspended license. The female driver was then transferred to the Kent Police Department to be booked into jail on her warrant.
