June 25

Beer with breakfast: Lawson and 5th Avenue. An officer observed a vehicle cross the fog line and almost drive in the ditch. The officer made contact with the 55-year-old old male driver. At first, he would not roll down his window. When he did, the officer could immediately smell the odor of alcohol being emitted from the vehicle. The driver admitted to having three beers with breakfast. Upon further tests, it was determined the driver was impaired and cited for negligent driving

 

July 7

 

Borrowing without permission: Southeast 291 Street. Officers were dispatched to a residence after they received reports of a verbal dispute. Upon arrival, they found that the male had left the residence on foot, while the female had taken the homeowners vehicle without permission. Upon investigation, the officers determined the vehicle was not stolen and no further investigation was required.
