Youth members of five Maple Valley-area congregations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host a dinner Nov. 8 honoring local military veterans and their spouses.

The event, timed with Veterans Day, is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Maple Valley Stake Center, 26800 236th Pl. SE., near the Four-Corners junction.
