Hosted by Councilmember Joe McDermott, Chair of the Budget Committee, more than 130 people shared their budget priorities at the meetings in Kent, Bellevue and Seattle at the King County Courthouse.

The Budget Committee’s two panels—General Government and Public Safety and Physical Environment—have completed their review of criminal justice and health and human service agencies along with their assessment of the budgets of all the separately-elected officials and general government operations.

This will be the final public hearing before the Council adopts the final King County Budget.

The budget vote traditionally takes place before Thanksgiving.
