At today’s Council meeting, Councilmembers:

  • An ordinance ending the honoring of civil immigration hold request from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for individuals in the custody of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (Substitute Ordinance 2014-0297.2).
  • A motion accepting the Regional Animal Services 2014 Operational Strategic Plan and Technical Report in response to the 2014/14 Biennial Budget Ordinance and authorizing the release of $500,000 currently held in reserve (Substitute Motion 2014-0147.2).
