Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m. ***Special meeting***

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

• An ordinance adopting an update to the Rural Economic Strategies Plan (Substitute Ordinance 2014-0408.2)

• An ordinance authorizing an amendment to the interlocal agreement with the King County flood control zone district extending the duration of the interlocal agreement through March 31, 2015 (Ordinance 2014-0481).

• A motion acknowledging the receipt of a report from the safety of newborn children task force regarding improving awareness in King County of the Safety of Newborn Children law (Motion 2014-0484).

• An ordinance authorizing the King County executive to enter into amendments to interlocal cooperation agreements with the cities of Auburn and Bothell to disburse conservation futures tax levy funds (Ordinance 2014-0462).

• A motion related to council adoption of the King County Auditor’s Office 2015‑16 Work Program (Motion 2014-0478).

King County Flood Control District — Immediately following meeting of Metropolitan King County Council ***Special meeting***

Boardmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

• A resolution approving a framework of goals, objectives and conceptual approaches for preparation of comprehensive floodplain management plan for the South Fork Snoqualmie River (Resolution FCD2014-21).

• A motion establishing the 2015 state legislative agenda for the King County Flood

Control Zone District (Substitute Motion FCD14-03.2).

 

Tuesday, December 16

King County Flood Control District Executive Committee—3:30 p.m. ***Special meeting location***

The Committee will meet in the Southwest Conference Room, 12th Flr., King County Courthouse

• Approving a contract for state lobbyist services
