King County Council meeting highlights | April 13-17

An ordinance authorizing the Executive to enter into an agreement with the city of Bothell granting surface rights for public park use in King County’s North Creek watershed storage facility property (Substitute ordinance 2015-0071.2).

Monday, April 13

Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

–Councilmembers will proclaim the month of April Sexual Assault Awareness Month in King County.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

• An ordinance authorizing the Executive to enter into an agreement with the city of Bothell granting surface rights for public park use in King County’s North Creek watershed storage facility property (Substitute ordinance 2015-0071.2).

• A motion acknowledging receipt of a work plan for utilizing an expert review panel to provide review and recommendations regarding optimization, cost control measures, risk management and risk mitigation for combined sewer overflow control projects and the wastewater conveyance and treatment system in accordance with the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance (Substitute motion 2015-0103.2).

• A motion that approves a plan regarding procedures to manage updates to the King County Comprehensive Plan, in compliance with the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance (Motion 2015-0124).

 

King County Flood Control District—Immediately following the meeting of the Metropolitan King County Council

The Board of Supervisors is scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

• A resolution relating to the North and South Reach of the Russell Road Upper Levee

improvement project, River Mile 19.25 to 20.4, Right Bank, on the Green River in the city of Kent; approving a revised agreement with the city of Kent for such project; and authorizing the chair to enter into such agreement (Resolution No. FCD2015-04).
