Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held during the week of March 12-16 at all four Tahoma School District elementary schools for both half-day and all-day sessions.

Parents are advised to bring the following documents: child’s official birth certificate; immunization records; and proof of residency, such as a utility bill, purchase agreement or rental contract.

Parents have the option of picking up a registration packet at school and returning it by week’s end or they can complete the registration packet at the school.

No preference is given for early registration.

Parents who wish to register their children for all-day kindergarten will have their names entered in a lottery for available space, assuming that the number of applicants exceeds the number of available places.

The lottery drawing will be held March 22 and parents will be notified of the results in early April.
