All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

LARCENY

• On April 5 at least six vehicles were hit by a subject stealing phone chargers and cords. Stated in the police report, the subject opened unlocked vehicles to gain access to the chargers. No damage was reported to any of the vehicles.

• Around 9:40 p.m. on March 31 officers responded to the report that gas has been stolen from the reporting party’s vehicle. She told officers that her daughter drove her car to work and while it was parked outside someone cut the gas hose and stolen gasoline.

• On April 2 at 11:48 a.m. officers responded to the report of stolen backpacks from an unlocked vehicle in the Jack In The Box’s parking lot. The report stated two suspects stole two backpacks and went to the Carl’s Jr. near by. One of the backpacks was left in the bathroom and the other was thrown away.

• On April 2 shortly after noon officers responded to the report of three unidentified suspects who shoplifted items from Walmart. The suspects left the store without paying for any of the items.

• On April 2 officers responded to the report that the victim’s keys and garage door opener were stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight.

VANDALISM

• On April 5 at 11:52 a.m. it was reported that the rubber gas line of a vehicle parked at Walmart appeared to have been intentionally cut. The vehicle was not entered and nothing was stolen from the vehicle.

On March 30 at 3 p.m. officers responded to the report of graffiti spray painted on a fence. When officers arrived they observed symbols and words in black spray paint but they couldn’t make out what the words or symbols were.
