At Monday night’s Maple Valley City Council meeting, Councilman Dana Parnello expressed concern about a recent influx of peddlers into the community.

He said many of them don’t have a peddler’s license with the city, making what they are doing illegal.

Maple Valley Police Chief DJ Nesel told council and those in attendance at the meeting to either call 911 or the non-emergency police line (206-296-3311) when they encounter someone who is peddling without a license.
