The Lake Wilderness Golf and Country Club has scheduled its annual Holiday Lights Food Drive to benefit the Maple Valley Food Bank from 6-9 p.m. Dec 18.

Homeowners, along with the Girl Scouts and Santa will be at the entrance off Witte Road to gather much needed food and money for those less fortunate. So, come and drop your donation before enjoying the marvelous holiday light show on over 150 homes.

Holiday meal items needed include green beans, corn, yams, stuffing, fruit cocktail, pumpkin mix, jello, pudding, cranberry sauce, sugar, olives, pickles and gravy mix. Standard needed items are tomato sauce, tuna, soup, fruit, vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, chili, stew, tuna helper, mac and cheese, pasta, cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, rice, beans, shampoo, toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, deodorant and diapers. Monetary donations are always welcome for the purchase of wholesale products. Please make checks payable to MVFB@ES.
