The holiday engine will be visiting the neighborhoods in Maple Valley again this season. As in the past, food and monetary donations will be collected for the Maple Valley Food Bank.

The holiday engine is sponsored by the Maple Valley Professional Firefighters Association, the Maple Valley Rotary and The Greater Maple Valley/Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce. In the past years the holiday engine volunteers have been able to contribute to the food bank and they will be looking forward to doing the same this year with the help of the community.

Along with the holiday engine, members of the Greater Maple Valley Girl Scouts will be caroling in the neighborhoods and the Tahoma High cheerleaders will be collecting food donations.

To make sure your neighborhood is visited by the holiday engine all homeowners’ associations and neighborhood representatives are urged to contact Lt. John Madden at 206-920-8087 by Nov. 20
