The National Weather Service is forecasting heavy rains through Monday and possible flooding around the area.

The weather service is predicting up to three inches of rain tonight, Jan 13, and Friday, more than an inches Saturday and two to five inches Sunday.

A series of pacific storms are bringing the rain.

The weather service is warning minor flooding could occur in the middle Green River upstream of Auburn.

Other rivers that may flood around the state include the Puyallup, Snoqualmie, Snohomish and Chehalis.
