Families who have children who are ages 3 or 4 by Aug. 31 who come from a family of low income, are homeless, who have a current IEP from a school district, or have someone in the home receiving SSI/SSA are eligible to apply for free preschool at the Jenkins Creek Elementary Head Start site in Covington.

This free program offers quality part-day preschool, nutritious meals, health and developmental screenings, family support services, parent events, education, and leadership opportunities. Some transportation services may be available.
