Greater Maple Valley Area Council to sponsor 14th annual model train show Oct. 15, 16

Greater Maple Valley Area Council is sponsoring the 14th Annual Maple Valley Model Train Show at the Gracie Hansen Community Center at Ravensdale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15, 16.

Greater Maple Valley Area Council is sponsoring the 14th Annual Maple Valley Model Train Show at the Gracie Hansen Community Center at Ravensdale  from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15, 16.

There will be train displays built by attending from groups like the Pierce County Lionel Club, Northwest Z Scalers, the 4th Division N Track and Pacific Northwest chapter of the National Model Railroad Association.

These representatives answer railroading questions.

Past issues of railroading magazines and periodicals are at the door.

A special children’s interactive display of “Thomas the Train” set is presented by the Seattle Northwest Passage where children up to age 10 can assemble dozens of tracks, trains and towns. A door prize drawing will be held once an hour to hand out train related items to attendees.

The public showings are from on both Saturday and Sunday at Gracie Hansen Community Center, 27132 SE Ravensdale Way, Ravensdale 98051 with entrance by donation.
