Cheri Starchman, director of Fountain Court Senior Living announced the results of the 2009 Resident Council Food Drive.

Six overly stuffed grocery bags and two holiday meal baskets were presented to the Maple Valley Food Bank at the gift ceremony and tree lighting Dec. 4 in the Fountain Court Senior Living main lobby.

According to Starchman,“it was fantastic to see everyone pull together with such commitment to those in need in our Maple Valley community. This definitely was a shared effort among our residents, staff, family and friends of Fountain Court. We started with the goal of simply doing a single holiday meal basket and ended up doing so much more.”
