Mountain Vineyard Christian Fellowship announced Andy Park and his band will be at Mountain Vineyard at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at Cedar Heights Middle School, 19640 S.E. 272nd Street, in Covington.
Park is a longtime Vineyard worship leader who now lives in Canada with his family. He began recording with Vineyard Music Group in the late 1980s.
Since then, his recordings include “The River Is Here,” “Blessed Be The Name,” “Night and Day” and “In the Secret.”
His song “In the Secret” is among the top 60 sung in churches through North America.
In 2007 Park’s recording “Unshakable” was released in partnership with ION Worship (www.ionworship.org). He is a contributing writer for the Compassionart CD released in January 2009 (www.compassionart.tv). His latest recording “Wonder Working God” was released internationally in June 2009, also with ION Worship.
During the past two decades, Park has been a pastoral staff member of several different Vineyard churches. He has traveled to more than 25 countries to lead worship and teach on worship and other Christian topics.
Park’s book “To Know You More – Cultivating the Heart of A Worship Leader,” published by InterVarsity Press, was released in July 2002 and in 2003 was awarded Book of the Year by WorshipMusic.com.
