Five students from Tahoma High School have qualified to compete at the speech and debate national tournament this year.

Miranda Smith will compete in the original oratory category, Jayaram Ravi in the international extemporaneous speaking, Dessa Meehan and Krista Eades in dual interpretation and Noah Adam in Lincoln-Douglas debate.

This year’s national tournament will be held in Birmingham, Ala. in June.
