Only a few more weeks of rock blasting-related closures on Interstate 90 east of Snoqualmie Pass. Next week closures start at 5:30 p.m.

The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews will close I-90 at 5:30 p.m. for about an hour each night Monday, Oct. 13 through Thursday, Oct. 16. During rock blasting closures, eastbound drivers will be stopped at Gold Creek (milepost 56) and westbound drivers will be stopped at Price Creek (milepost 61).

Drivers may experience minor delays during the day and at night due to lane closures in both directions from the Denny Creek area to the Price Creek area, mileposts 47 to 61. Intermittent rolling slowdowns could cause minor delays Monday through Friday from Gold Creek to Price Creek, mileposts 56 to 61.
