Fight breaks out at party where minors are drinking | Maple Valley-Covington Police Blotter

A fight broke out at a party with minors in attendance who were drinking. According to the police report, some of the partygoers, who were not known to others at the home, swarmed several people at the party, hitting, kicking, striking them and bottles.

  • Feb. 6
  • OUT OF CONTROL: 23300 block of Southeast 267th Court. A fight broke out at a party with minors in attendance who were drinking. According to the police report, some of the partygoers, who were not known to others at the home, swarmed several people at the party, hitting, kicking, striking them and bottles. Several people were injured, but, when questioned they were “uncooperative with police,” the report said.

  • Feb. 4
  • BURGLARY: 23000 block of Southeast 263rd Street. Burglars entered a home via the garage door. The suspects stole a microwave from the kitchen and damaged cabinets as well as trim boards in the process.

    Feb. 3

    THEFT: 23700 block of Maple Valley Highway. Someone cut the lock of a propane tank storage cage at a gas station. The suspects stole eight tanks. A pair of the five gallon tanks were recovered near Tahoma Fitness.

  • THEFT: 27500 block of 254th Way Southeast. A grandson is accused of stealing and pawning numerous pieces of jewelry from his grandparent’s house.

  • Jan. 30
  • HARASSMENT: 25300 block of Southeast 279th Place. A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend had been harassing her with phone calls and texts. The woman told police that she had made the man move out about five weeks prior to the report.

  • Jan. 29
  • (NOT SO) FREE MONEY: 18200 block of 252nd Avenue Southeast. A man received a letter that stated he won $50,000 but he must pay $399 to receive the money.

    COVINGTON

    • Feb. 6
    • DRUNKENNESS: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A drunk man was in Fred Meyer and refused to leave. The police report described the man as “a transient.”

    • Feb. 2
    • SUSPENDED: 16600 block of Southeast 272nd Street. After being pulled over for driving with a suspended license a woman was found to have violated a no contact order.
